Drawing inspiration from the partita—a Baroque musical form closely related to dance suites—this ballet combined classical structure with expressive choreography. True to its name, Partita opened with a prelude and followed the elegant flow of Baroque movement, making these costumes a reflection of both music and dance history.
Each bodice features handcrafted construction with intricate lace detailing in vivid hues of teal, red, and purple, accented by cream bows. These vintage pieces embody the artistry and vision of SJDT’s founding era and are ideal for collectors, costume historians, or lovers of ballet heritage.
